After the burn-in period, the electronic circuits are measured for all specifications. Here the amplifiers of the DX-one Pro are measured for gain, frequency/amplitude characteristics, maximum in- and output level, 2nd and 3rd order intercept points, harmonic distortion of a high level carrier, noise-figure and power dissipation. Only if all specifications exceed the values as published in the leaflets, will the amplifiers leave the test department.
Finally all parts come together to form the complete product. Nearly everything is assembled by hand, as this gives the possibility for a quality check at every production step. The assembly line is organised in such away, that every employee can do his or her task only, if the persons earlier on the line have done their work correctly.
